SUPERSCAN IV-15
Your Benefits
The SUPERSCAN IV-15‘s model-based, digital control offers extremely dynamic responses and speeds up to 75 rad/s, which really come into play in marking – and extreme fast, but precise-applications. The robust, water-cooled master block design enables applications at up to 2 kW laser power when using quartz scan mirrors.
Configurable through and through
Lenses, protective glass, and mirror substrates and coatings are available for all standard laser types, wavelengths, power densities, focal lengths and processing areas. This allows to handle a wide range of tasks with best quality and optimized throughput. We would also be happy to help you put together the perfect configuration for your application.
Typical Applications
In particular, the hatching in Additive Manufacturing or wobble welding and the marking of electronic components as well as the cleaning are natural applications for the SUPERSCAN IV-15. Speed and dynamic responses are guaranteed, thanks to digital control and powerful PWM output stages. When combined with our camera adapter and MVC components, the SUPERSCAN IV-15 becomes the ideal precision tool with process monitoring.
Innovation and Quality
Innovation and maintaining high product quality standards are our priorities at RAYLASE. All our products are developed, built and tested in our own laboratories and production facilities. Through our world-wide support network we can offer best maintenance and rapid service for our customers.
FOCUSSHIFTER RD-14
The combination of f-theta lens and deflection unit is an ideal solution for many marking and engraving applications. After all, for small and medium-sized working fields, it offers small focus diameters and good flat field correction with low spot variations.
However, the workpieces are not always flat. Especially when cleaning components from paint, oxide layers or oil, cutting flexible printed circuit boards or marking, it is important to follow the contour of the component in order to achieve the desired processing result. It is also important to correct the focus position during the process when deep engraving or drilling and cutting glass.
For these applications, the FOCUSSHIFTER RD-14 is the right choice. It adds an adjustable lens system to the combination of f-theta lens and deflection unit, allowing the z-position of the focus to be set dynamically. As a result, layer-by-layer processing (2.5D) as well as processing in space (3D) are both possible. Thanks to its extremely compact design and versatile mounting options, it can be flexibly integrated into laser systems.
The FOCUSSHIFTER RD-14 therefore offers system integrators an attractive solution for extending laser systems to three-dimensional workpieces. And thanks to the f-theta lens, the FOCUSSHIFTER RD-14 performs particularly well when processing workpieces with different height levels.
AXIALSCAN RD-14
The AXIALSCAN RD-14 was developed to be able to efficiently process large workpieces. It combines the high dynamics of a MINISCAN III with the advantages of dynamic pre-focusing. In contrast to a solution with an F-Theta lens, the laser is focused in front of the scan mirrors, allowing the deflection angle to be fully utilized. This means that larger processing fields are possible and even large components can be processed with a single deflection unit. This results in a great advantage for the user, who can avoid the time-consuming stitching together of several processing fields.
The AXIALSCAN RD-14 is the ideal solution for all applications where large fields and high dynamics are required. Hence, it is particularly suitable for additive manufacturing or the cutting and marking of printed circuit boards (PCBs).
The dynamic pre-focusing also enables the processing of non-planar structures without the need for additional optics. This means that the AXIALSCAN RD-14 can be used for both layer-by-layer processing (2.5D) and complete 3D processing.
The very compact design of the AXIALSCAN RD-14 and its versatile mounting options are almost identical to our FOCUSSHIFTER RD-14. Therefore, it can also be flexibly integrated into laser systems and the integrator can easily select the optimum solution for his laser application.
MINISCAN III-10
Your Benefits
The new MINISCAN III offers very stable digital control, which further improves noise and drift values, thereby making the system even more reliable and robust. Both the XY2-100 16 bit and the SL2-100 20 bit protocols can be used with the digital interface. A corresponding cable defines the use of the protocol.

Typical Applications
Natural applications include, in particular, hatching of surfaces in additive manufacturing with high dynamic performances, ablation and cleaning of surfaces at high speed and challenging marking tasks. Speed and dynamic responses are guaranteed, thanks to digital control and powerful PWM output stages. You also have the option of combining the MINISCAN III with our CAMERA ADAPTER and MACHINE VISION CONTROL components for process monitoring.
